This visual is about my relationship with my dear Hannah. We fell in love at the start of this year. I met her on my travels as a (digital) nomad.

The process of creating it is almost like a meditation, a way to gain insight in our special connection, the colors/feelings that are most prominent in it, the chemistry that is unique to us, and also more general concepts about intimacy. More things get added every time I gain more understanding.. so this might be a never finished piece.. or a visual that keeps developing as we develop.

The name ‘The Third’ comes from a book we’re reading about intimate relationships called ‘Flesh and Spirit’ by Jack Zimmerman and Jaquelyn McCandless. The Third is a concept for the relationship as a third member that exists between us, and that has a force on its own.
